About Us

The Department of Mining Engineering was established in 1954 as part of the then Maclagan Engineering College and has the distinction of being the first in the country to offer a formal degree course in Mining Engineering. The Department of Mining Engineering has produced highly skilled engineers who have contributed towards the economy of the country.
