The vision of the department is to produce the graduates for the global mining engineering industry who are technically competent, are skilled with modern tools, possess the necessary leadership and team skills, and are environmentally sensitive. The department also envisions to be among top-ranked mining engineering programs and a school of choice for the mining engineering education, through innovative research, modern curriculum and qualified faculty.
